Artist statement:

Based on the concept of social distance, this work proposes a reflection on how we relate to each other.
By depicting different Asian cityscapes, and the organic trails that human motion causes throughout densely populated environments, “Social Distance” evokes the lost collective dynamics of city life - the pre-pandemic era - while also quoting brief passages of day-to-day existence.

If the spectator looks carefully, he will discover traces of an old-world… one made of uncovered mouths, exposed lips, and unveiled noses.
