Edited in 2011, this photobook elaborates on Casino’s decoration, hiper-reality and luxury feeling, aiming to atract users/gamblers to a different and lavish reality of entertaiment. As conveyed in Duarte’s work, in these facilities theere are no “empty spaces”, or “empty decoration”, thus creating an atmosphere where everithing is superlative and overwelming to the eyes and well feeling… The “image of pastiche is no longer pastiche, it becomes a new reality.
